FAQS

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture.” This system offers customers the opportunity to support their local farms and producers via an initial buy-in price, which is then returned through weekly shares of fresh produce. This helps the farm by providing the initial capital needed for operation costs.

What produce can I expect in my share?

In the early Spring, members can expect plenty of nourishing fresh lettuces, leafy greens (such as arugula, our popular asian greens mix and kale) harukei turnips, radishes, carrots and broccolini. As the season continues, you can begin to expect seeing foods such as squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, snacking/hot peppers and more!

What if I can’t make my pickup?

If a pickup is missed without prior notice, it is just missed!

If you can’t make it to pickup (within 24 hours prior) please let us know and we will be happy to arrange a double up in the following weeks!

How will I know what to expect in my share that week?

Every Wednesday/Thursday you can expect a group email that will let you know what to expect and plan for in your share for the week!

If I don’t like something in the share, can I swap it for something else?

We are happy to swap items as long as item availability permits! Please just let us know within 24 hours of pickup.
